Blue Chip Group is part of a WA family company which has been providing products and services to the building industry for over 80 years, since 1927 or for three generations.

Nuroof (WA) Pty Ltd was founded in 1927 providing built up bituminous roofing to the Perth building industry. Many of state's landmark buildings have been worked on by Nuroof or it's subsidaries over the years.

Alltex Industries was started in the early 1990's as a division of Nuroof, importing, milling and finishing timber products for the window finishings market and building industry. Blue Chip Group was started in 2007 as a marketing and distribution division for Alltex Industries, particularly focusing on architectural building products.

Other divisions of Nuroof are; Arcadia Architectural (Formerly IVR Equipment), Garagex Farmaster, Zanda Architectural and Silverwing Supplies.
